This year's winners of the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) have been announced, and they include four Biology PhD students who were offered awards, as well as one Biology PhD student who received an Honorable Mention.
Dr. Laura Duvall is one of ten scientists to receive this year’s Beckman Young Investigator Award.
Dr. Maria Antonietta Tosches has received the McKnight Scholar Award, a competitive award granted by the McKnight Foundation to assistant professors in neuroscience.

Dr. Carol Prives has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society.
Dr. Darcy Kelley has been selected as one of the five inaugural recipients of the Faculty Mentoring Award.
Dr. Laura Duvall, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences, has been selected as the 2019 Regional Winner in Life Sciences by the Blavatnik Foundation for their annual Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists.
