This year's NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) winners have been announced. An award was offered to Tristian Wiles, along with Honorable Mentions for Lena Kogan, Lizzie Bradford, and Riley McGarrigle (all Biological Sciences PhD Students).
Furthermore, Ayi Agboglo (a current TA for Intro Biology), Jessica Burke (a current TA for Neurobiology II), and Abhishek Shah (a current TA for Neurobiology II and CC '21 graduate) were selected for awards, and Christina Lee (a Biophysics CC Undergrad, class of 2021) was given an Honorable Mention. Congratulations to all! This is a great outcome for the awardees, our PhD program and undergraduate majors, and the Department. Meehan Crist, the Writer-in-Residence for the Department of Biological Sciences, worked hard with these students to prepare their applications.
The NSF GRFP is designed to support “outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees.”
