Before joining Columbia, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Biomedical Engineering Department during my undergraduate years at Rutgers University. I also worked in several industry labs, such as those at Colgate-Palmolive and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. I have been fortunate to gain exposure to so many different biological areas, and I look forward to specializing my focus during graduate school. When I'm not in lab, I love to cook, read, relax with a good book, and spend time with my friends, family, and kitten, Cashew.
