Previous Institution: Tsinghua University
My research interests are in the area of human functional genomics. I earned a BS in Biological Science from Tsinghua University in China, where I was able to gain a strong foundation that included both biological and computational knowledge. For my graduate training at Columbia University, I have been studying human transcription factor regulatory networks and genetic variation, under the supervision of Dr. Harmen J Bussemaker. My current research aims to develop a novel computational approach to identifying regulatory genetic variants that affect transcription factor activity.
