Pe'er
Novel computational methods in human genetics
Prof. Pe'er develops computational methods to analyze genetic variation.
His work involves considering high throughput data from sequencing and genotyping studies in order to infer insights population history and association of rare mutations, common alleles and their combinations to disease. The Pe'er lab in the Department of Computer Science combines trainees with complementary backgrounds and skill sets, ranging from the biological to the algorithmic.
